Hi, After setting up my forum on my domain, All worked perfectly untill about 2 hours ago when i tried to visit my site and now i keep getting http://www.mydomain.co.uk/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

I believe this is redirecting me to cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi for some unknown reason.

I tried to reinstall my forum but it will not let me delete anything from the directory via my FTP client.

I contacted my hosting provider and their explaination to the problem was to terminate my account and create a fresh one, neither have they they done this or told me what the problem is.

I dont think that terminating my account is the ideal way to sort a problem.

I think the problem may lay with cpanel ? or a .htacess file ? (can some one confirm this)

All my problems are now sorted, My hosts explanation about deleting the folders/files was to simply rename them, but when i looked abit deeper into the matter, my folder permissions had changed which prevented me from deleting them.

As for my domain being redirected that sorted its self out, hopefully i,ll get to the bottom of what happened fully one day :cool:.

Can a mod please lock this for me ?
