When trying to mount a secondary drive via WHM (to access the data) the only option appears to be "partition, format and mount" - is there a way to mount the drive without partition & format?

That feature is intended for adding new drives to the system. For a drive that already contains data, you should use the the command line's mount command. Pearhaps a nice future feature would be to mount existing partitions :) Sounds like a good idea. You may want to start a conversation about that on our feature request forums so our developers can correspond with any follow-up questions and we can all discuss how best to implement the ability to mount existing partitions. This will also allow you to be notified when this feature is implemented. |
