View Full Version : Improve your sales with professionally-written web content

I constantly see people selling templates here on WHT, but I've yet to see anyone selling content to put in those templates. Well, here I am!

For the past 5 years I've owned and operated two internet companies - a hosting company for 4 years, and a dial-up ISP for the last year and a half. However, before all that, I was a professional writer and editor, and, honestly, I miss that business.

So I'm now offering to write and/or edit web content for anyone on WHT. I'll write or edit your web site, product literature, brochures, sales letters, whatever! I'm not a designer, so don't ask me to design anything for you, but I can write clear, understandable, and professional content that will help you sell your product.

Now, please don't come to me and say "write me something". That's not the way I work. I firmly believe that no one knows your business as well as you do, and no one can sell your business to your customers as well as you can. Because of that, you need to tell me what to say. You tell me what you want to say, what you want your customers to know, and I'll write clear, quality, professional sales literature (without all that marketing mumbo-jumbo you see on a lot of sites!) that will present your company in a professional light and help you sell your services.

I charge by the hour - $20 for the first hour of work, $10 for each additional hour. You can pay me via PayPal.

I have a 100% satisfaction guarantee - if you're not happy with what I write for you, then just tell me that and you won't have to pay a thing (but, of course, you can't use what I write unless you pay me for it).

I can even take your existing web page content and re-write it for you to make it better!

As I said, I won't write anything from a blank page. I don't know your company as well as you do, so you need to give me my starting point. But once I know what you want to communicate, I will write your content for you. And I guarantee your satisfaction.

Please e-mail me at jason@localgeeks.com (I'm doing this on my own time, and my writing and editing services are not a service of my Internet company, so I prefer you use my personal e-mail address instead of my company one) if you are interested in working with me or have any questions, or to request writing samples.

Thank you,

Jason Ellis

Jason -- your name sounds familiar, didn't you used to write an ISP sales column? Or, am I thinking of someone else?

Jason,

After wading through many semi-coherent posts, I came across your clear, consise post. You're offering a service that many companies really need.

Good luck! :)

All those requesting samples, if you are serious about your desire to hire me but want a level of assurance that I am capable, please e-mail me privately at jason@localgeeks.com with your web site address and I'll re-write one paragraph from your web site to provide a sample (you can even specify the paragraph). Of course, only serious inquiries please.

UUallan: I've been around these boards since 1998 (and in fact my former hosting company, which I sold last year, at one time hosted these boards back when they were a part of HostInvestigator.com - wow, I feel old!), so I'm sure you've seen me many times here. I've never written an ISP sales column, though I had submitted an article here and there for use on various host directory sites (have no idea if any of those articles are still up anywhere, or even if any of the sites are still there, as I didn't really keep track of where I submitted them to and that was several years ago).

Universal: I am not in fact on ICQ much, but you can try to catch me online (my computer is logged into the net for the better part of every day, but I'm not always sitting in front of it). Otherwise you can drop me an e-mail - I check and answer e-mail frequently.

Thank you,

Jason
