Magmahost is not willing to provide me with any kind of of support any more. Also i probably just got banned from magmahost because i brought the truth about there monkey crap system.

At the end of each support response they include ...

They are a terrible host i i highly recommend everyone to stay away from them. ... Technically they are no better than scamers because they refuse to provide me the services which i paid for.

Looks like typical outsourced L1 support to me, they can't help you so its all down to the "admin".

More like 13 days from the looks of the timestamp on the first ticket.

Could it be that the license is invalid because it has expired?

Anyways, you better slide a backup off that server asap. No matter what the response is.

Actually in term of Billing Scripts, I'm prefer to buy / lease my own license and don't depend on your hosting provider to provide all "FREE". This kind of scripts are not free at all but for save side if you have your own license then you can move around very easy..just backup the data then move to new provider..:D

It's called consistancy,
no valid CE license, matches their no valid reseller license,
which matches there 'NO serverstatus page'
which matches their 'Holding Companies' No Information or Contact details,
whichmatches their 'There are No Problems' attitude.

Always buy your own license and domain no matter who the host is. As the paying customer you should always be in control.

Yah they still wont reply to my ticket issues. Its so simple. All they have to do is go into their client exec reseller portal (if they have one) and add portal.name.here

They say they will work hard to solve this issue today. ... lets see what happens ... i will update you guys

This license was activated on 30/01/2010 - see attached screenshot from ClientExec's website.

It was licensed for mydomain.com which means any subdomain will work as well

They are wrong there, they need to enter the sub domain on the Client-Exec resellers screen, just dont put the www. part. I know that one for a fact as I am also a Clientexec reseller.

I am also shocked that they would only contact you AFTER you made this post (and a week later to boot).

That is exactly what i told there admin ... to enter it has a sub domain but they will not listen ..?

This is exactly what to expect from Magmahost, the potential that was there is now dead following the buyout by the 'Ghost' holding company, thats the holding company that's too scared to publish any contact or business information about itself.
Even Companies house fails to show any 'association' between Magnahost Ltd. and any other UK or overseas 'partners'.

Okay ... after magmahost finally listened to me they have fixed the problem ... lets see how good the service is now.

There servers seem to be fast now after the take over ...

I too faced similar problem and somehow they managed to solve it after 15 days. In such cases, they simply send a mail saying they give 1 month compensation hosting period. So for i got 2 months such that. But, there is no information about the duration in their account management area. When we enquire, no response.

Really hell with magmahost.
