Hi guys

I came here last night with the AAAARRRRGGGG@@@!##@!! thread.

Now i almost got my hosting searched solved..

To recap, i was looking for a TRUSTWORTHY host that offers REAL multiple domain hosting..

I found myACEN, and have greatly felt confident with them..

But, everthing was fine until i found out that my addOn domains cant have but ONE WEBMAIL account.. POP is great, but my clients' email users depend heavily on webMail feature. They dont like using outlook and other email clients... i got like people screaming:

"WE WANT WEBMAIL! WE WANT WEBMAIL!"

How do I solve this last hurdle guys?????????

Is there a way to tap into POP and use a webMail software?? I was thinking of squirrelmail. but i dont know if it would work.. I dont no crap about setting up mail servers and all... would that work?

Please advice!

Thanks mates!

I thought one webmail acct was all that normally came with each domain. Doesn't it still let you have different email addresses?

Maybe I'm not understanding you. Perhaps, you want several different logins for each acct. Either way, I'd ask Myacen if I were you.

Check out one of the following..

Imp - http://www.horde.org/imp/

Popper - http://ractive.ch/popper/about.php

SquirrelMail - http://www.squirrelmail.org/ (You mentioned this one already)

@Webmail - http://webbasedemail.com/index.ehtml

Any one of these should work fine for you..

Greetings!

Usually, if you are hosted with CPanel control panel, I think it has a built-in webmail:

http://www.yourdomain.com:2095

Otherwise, you can use the services of mail2web (http://www.mail2web.com) for webmail purposes.

I hope that helps.

well, since they offer (what I desperately need) multi domain hosting, i had to make sure they offered full features on them t.. YEP THEY DO.. the addon domains even has mailServers. HOWEVER, this is the sad part, there can (presently) be ONLY although i can have as many POP accounts for my addon domains, there can be only ONE WEBMAIL account per addon domain..

That would be ok, but MY CLIENTS ARE NARROWMINDED.. THEY WANT WEBBASED EMAILs... This is the only hurdle we gota cross..

anyways, I wana thank LUKE of myAcen in advance for helping me with this.. He's been hunting and installing scripts, testing what would work for me.. I cant thank them enough.
