I think the best solution, contact your hosting provider and ask them to add your new domain as main domain to your reseller account..
This thing can be done very fast...:D

As reseller I don't think you can change your main domain..normally there is some limitation for reseller to do this and that in your reseller account..
As reseller you can add new domain maybe for your client but I don't think you can change your own main domain because it's will effect with your billing account at your hosting provider.

You could contact your host for more details. If you are running cPanel, there are some video tutorial in cPanel to help new users.

Hi George,
If they have provided you a username, most probably a dummy account has been added already. You may have to contact the host to change it to your real domain name.
If its a cPanel/WHM account you can just log into your control panel with the details they have provided and check the domain (dummy) that has been created for you. However, you will still have to contact the host to change it to the real domain. There are numerous tutorials available online with pictures and screenshots.
Can you update here if you are unable to find any tutorial for your control panel? You will definitely find help and solutions here. :)

Your host should be able to change the domain name since most likely with the reseller permissions you have you might not be able to.

I suggest you to check any tutorials given on their website (or via email) for resellers about how to do the basic/initial setup - either Video or text based tutor. As of my experiences in web hosting reseller service, this reseller's main domain (nameservers setup) is really crucial and is a basic step in initial setup.
If you still can't add main domain (as well as for the nameservers setup), then you may ask the Reseller Specialists (if any) or the Support team from your Hosting Company to help you with this initial reseller setup.
