I did experience that before but not with revecom, i used to send a reply to an Australia Company by air-mail through my country's pos services

it cost me $35 for that.

Dont forget revecom wont even mail a check unless you are owed 50$ or more. So if you are owed $50 and then they charge you 40$ you now have a check for $10. If I were international I would find a different CC place.

Regarding your:
> "charge" $40 to send a check to international users

Revecom-sales just told me the following:
> The current method for Internatioanl clients are
> Check or Wire. There is $40.00 fee per wire.
> Check settlements are always free

So I don't think there is any fee for checks!

Try WorldPay http://www.worldpay.com

Their rates are more reasonable for non-US residents, albeit a higher setup cost.

Jost wondering, haven't you read my comment above?
There is no charge for checks by Revecom, only the fee which your bank would charge!

There is no charge for checks by Revecom, only the fee which your bank would charge! well there's a charge at our end when i bank an US fund cheque into my Australian bank a/c they charge AUD$7 - 10 per cheque and cheques over AUD$1000 get put on hold for up to 30 - 40 working days until they get cleared by my banks - it's like having money but not being able to use it :(

Tell me that it isn't true, if not, my company is losing a lot of money then!

but this is for personal not business, not sure what teh situation is for businesses

We have been really looking into Revecom and have not yet made the final go ahead yet. They seem to be one of the better ones through our research. Let me ask you all one thing though. They send you a check every month for all money collected minus fees? No problems, no major hassles? Other than this thread of the $40 mind you. I am in the US and don't see that as a problem.

Payouts are made every 2 weeks, rather than every month. Also, if you're based in the US, you can opt for the direct ACH bank transfer option like we do. There is no charge for the ACH option.

But according to them, they will only send the checks monthly or biweekly if they exceeds $50 within that period.

Have you tried to call and complain about this matter with them directly? If so, what did they say? If not, why not do it?

cheers,
