Hi everyone,
I am thinking of changing my blog over to a CMS. What would you guys recommend.
I have used text-pattern in the past but I will not touch that again. So I was thinking about Wordpress, used it before but just wondering if I should look into others first?
I need the template to allow php to be run in it. I think you can do this with wordpress?

I would recommend WordPress (which is a blog) or Joomla (which is a CMS).

My recommendation goes to Drupal. Easy to use and simple to customize.
I've used Joomla a while ago, but it seems quite bloated to me.

I've used Joomla a while ago, but it seems quite bloated to me.I love Drupal as well and agree that it's much more customizable and very easy to use one you get the hang of it. Either way, I think you'd be fine using WordPress, Drupal or even others like Tumblr.

yes word press cms is good for blogs and website as i have the awesome experience with wordpress.............

Wordpress has many plug-ins an can be customized quite well. Joomla is way more than you need. And Drupal may be a good fit also. It has many features and plug-ins also. But Wordpress, by far, is the easiest to learn and has thousands of themes, if you look around.

Blog can play a very important role in the web designing and in the web development, you can add a blog in your website so that you can update the content of your website through its blogs especially if your website is not related to the services and products ...:cool:

as in future you can customize it with loads of plugins available on their site if you want....
