![]() | View Full Version : Who are some reputable game server providers these days? Mike12King 02-17-2010, 11:59 PM Particularly for BF2 ranked. WHU-Mike 02-18-2010, 03:14 AM Google is a good way to find out. Some company names off the top of my head velocity-servers gameservers branzone JonBiloh 02-18-2010, 04:30 AM I would suggest: 1. Art of War Central - www.artofwarcentral.com 2. Hypernia - www.hypernia.com Both are licensed EA Ranked partners. Crothers 02-18-2010, 04:44 AM Hypernia runs a great outfit. I know they can do things that other providers cannot with their technology. Should give them a try. FrankLaszlo 02-18-2010, 05:43 AM Art of War has been around for a long time as far as I remember. XFactorServers 02-18-2010, 05:55 AM Art of War has been around for a long time as far as I remember. Yes they are one of the oldest providers around. 6-7+ years. brandonsf 02-18-2010, 03:21 PM Hypernia from my own personal experience is a great contender! I recommend you look at them. M Bacon 02-18-2010, 03:51 PM XFactor Servers is a regular on these forums. They seem to provide good services. :) brandonsf 02-18-2010, 04:59 PM Derek runs a very reputable business. Xfactor is one of those companies I see great things coming from. XFactorServers 02-18-2010, 10:12 PM Thank you for the praise. Much appreciated. M Bacon 02-18-2010, 10:59 PM Your welcome. :) LayerVPS 02-21-2010, 01:21 PM one gaming provider for the United Kingdom which has not yet been mentioned would be GTXGaming. The customer friendly support service operators are very helpful and get straight to the point with no faffing around. GTX has established themselves as one of the main leaders in this gaming industry in the United Kingdom and with plans of rumours circulating that they will be expanding to new territories such as France, Germany and other European union countries. check them out today you will not be disappointed. Cheap Game Servers (http://gtxgaming.co.uk) Sc00by22 02-21-2010, 01:26 PM I've used GamingDeluxe (http://www.gamingdeluxe.co.uk/) before and they are pretty good. Mike12King 02-21-2010, 11:53 PM Is Branzone good? Crothers 02-22-2010, 12:20 AM Is Branzone good? Considering they've almost gone out of business from what I remember and were de-listed from the Ventrilo providers page... I'll let you draw your own conclusions. xDesign365 02-22-2010, 11:04 AM Try www.gameservers.com they are the biggest provider in the world so they must be doing something right. WHU-Mike 02-22-2010, 01:07 PM Is Branzone good? Game server quality wise, I always compared Branzone the same as Gameservers.com. That's news to me that they almost went out of business. With that said, if you want something inexpensive and trustworthy try out gameservers.com Crothers 02-22-2010, 01:58 PM http://velocity-servers.com/ also has good service. Creed3020 02-22-2010, 03:17 PM Hypernia for ranked servers is great, and their support is very helpful. If you go the route of a dedicated server then you can maintain desktop access to your server which no other provider can offer from what I know. Sp32 02-22-2010, 07:04 PM worldstream are good, they have their own panel for game servers ms-warren 02-23-2010, 12:56 PM I would suggest you give Art Of War or XFactorServers a try for your BF2 needs XFactorServers 02-23-2010, 07:21 PM I would suggest you give Art Of War or XFactorServers a try for your BF2 needs Thank you for the kind words :) jtaM 03-22-2010, 12:48 PM Go with Art of War or Hypernia. You wont go wrong with either. JohnJ 03-22-2010, 05:41 PM Try www.gameservers.com (http://www.gameservers.com) they are the biggest provider in the world so they must be doing something right. GameServers.com is pretty horrible from my experience. I only use MyInternetServices.com. They're great. :agree: BH-Greg 03-23-2010, 04:29 PM Xfactor servers seem good, seen and heard of them for a while. PEAK-Bobby 03-23-2010, 08:31 PM You may want to checkout www.gsprating.com and their Top 10 Game Server Companies. PatrickN 03-24-2010, 10:53 AM Here's a list of reputable providers: GameServers (ClanServers) NuclearFallout HD-Gaming XfactorServers DarkStarLLC ArtofWarCentral VelocityServers/SummitServers DefconServers MyInternetServices VeeServers Branzone couple others, i'm just too lazy to think :P those are about most of them though HiDef-Laws 01-21-2011, 02:23 PM Yes, I'm "Mr. Digs Up Old Thread" today. What dis-information about Branzone. They never approached "going out of business". They were delisted from the Ventrilo page after they reported 1 hour of use of their license on an IP that was not under their control. It turns out some system that left a datacenter ended up not being wiped and it was booted to ensure it was working before it was wiped. Despite verification, Branzone has yet to be re-added to the list but they ARE a licensed Ventrilo host. Its ridiculous to read some of these comments though. Crothers, don't you (or didn't you) work for Velocity? Here you are bagging on Branzone and then acting impartial with your Velocity boost? SFMarcus 01-30-2011, 02:57 PM I highly recommend using Velocity Servers or Summit Servers (Both very reputable companies, same companies, Velocity is just cheaper). Micohosting 01-30-2011, 04:35 PM +1 for gameservers.com and nfoservers.com they got awsome services. I was very pleased with them ninkynonk 01-30-2011, 04:56 PM Multiplay is very well known and a very large game hosting company. They will even work out deals for you and they have supermicro blades as well. They have really cheap minecraft servers. sutki72 03-17-2011, 07:12 PM +1 for gameservers.com and nfoservers.com they got awsome services. I was very pleased with them I also advise all NoxInnovations 04-04-2011, 12:21 PM I mean you also have Game Servers. Their servers are pretty legit, they also have their own chat client, if that makes them more appealing. RichardPerez 04-11-2011, 01:03 AM gameservers.com most used or use google to find about 100 pages of gsp's :) SystemOAD 05-25-2011, 09:23 AM I get my game servers from UK Game Servers Live (http://www.gameserverslive.co.uk) and Rackage (www.rackage.com) as they both offer a great selection on UK game servers at some cheap prices :) ryguy222 05-25-2011, 08:00 PM Another +1 for nuclear fallout servers. Been using em for about a year for their VPS and mumble hosting. They aren't cheap but it's worth every penny! misth 05-26-2011, 08:38 AM try Gamesforlive.com i saw they have lowest prices. WHU-Mike 05-26-2011, 09:22 AM try Gamesforlive.com i saw they have lowest prices. Just checked them out, Open poster wanted a reputable provider. GFL looks new, doesn't have an order page, nor does half the links work. I'd suggest something else. egsgroup 05-26-2011, 09:34 AM You must register first. Go to game panel selection then you can make order Sir. We could run test server so you could check it. NateN34 05-26-2011, 09:26 PM Just checked them out, Open poster wanted a reputable provider. GFL looks new, doesn't have an order page, nor does half the links work. I'd suggest something else. Yep, lol. Also very bad grammar, avoid these guys. "Welcome on our website bellow you can see a calculator, which can help you to make precision calculate" EQHosting 05-26-2011, 10:20 PM Just checked them out, Open poster wanted a reputable provider. GFL looks new, doesn't have an order page, nor does half the links work. I'd suggest something else. Absolutely correct. Cheaper isn't always better! misth 05-27-2011, 05:16 AM In my case I don't need a perfect grammar, but quality of service. I don't care about their skills as writer, but as gsp. But it's new, that's correct. king royal 06-10-2011, 12:14 PM I am uncertain of what is required for Games hosting and if the type of computer and platformed used makes a difference as well. JustinTiburon 06-10-2011, 02:58 PM Game servers is pretty good, I've had cs and The specialists mod as well as hidden:source on their servers. They seemed to put up with me enough :) |
