View Full Version : Wanna stop using Cpanel without loosing settings or data

Hello all as the topic says. Can anyone suggest an alternative to this situation ?? Currently i dont have much data on the 1 server and i wanna stop using Cpanel and move to something more opensource like virtualmin.

It is impossible to uninstall cPanel. You will lose all your settings/data unless you manually back everything up, and re-implement it into your new panel.

I would suggest using ISPmanager Lite. Backup all your data (files + db`s) and move it. ISPmanager is easier to setup/manage your server. Owned license is like 30$ from a reseller. Cheap and useful.

i had this server updated and secured by PSM. Now the problem is they only support cpanel based server and can only manage "apache" webserver.
