Since you have posted this in Windows forum, I believe you are in need of Windows hosting. Can you provide us more information on your requirements (Disk space/bandwidth/location/budget)?

And you need a shared hosting or a dedicated, vps server?

Cheap != Windows web hosting. It might be wise to determine your budget before asking for recommendations.

There are some good cheap hosting providers out there: elite-technologies.co.uk have some cheap shared hosting.

but if your looking to spend pence a month windows is not what you want.

A lot hosting provider offer low price but when we talk about "Windows" it's not really "cheap"..:D

But for more detail you have to look around at WHT or google and make a decision to what level "cheap" you want according to your needs.

GoDaddy and IXWebHosting are two cheap providers. What's your budget?

What's your budget for that? I assume you're looking for Windows hosting?
Also, are you looking to host your site offshore/oversea - in which country?

I wouldn't use Godaddy for hosting I as well as some of my friends have had many problems with them ranging from all sorts of stuff.

In general be careful of hosts that keep dropping their prices, aren't expanding to new products / regions, don't spend money on advertising. This is a sure sign that they are heading out of business.

before using a cheap rather call it as budget hosting provider. ever think first, is your data important to you anot? If yes, I will recommend you go for a reliable host than a budget hosting

You should also make your own backups too.

linux may be the way to go for cheaper hosting
