I am not sure whether others have this problem, but whenver you post in a thread a little black dot shows up on the images next to the thread's title on the forum pages. To make a long story short, their dimensions are screwed up and don't look like the other folder images (it looks vertically challenged, squished). This probably sounds stupid, but it's really quite annoying.

The specific image is: (there may be others)
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/images/dot_folder.gif

It looks normal when you type it in the URL bar, but not in the forums. No I am not going nuts, I have IE6 and WinXP Home.

Yeah, I'm seeing the same thing. I don't really care though.

It took 3 years to bring the dot folers back... let's not push it ;) :D

Seriously, something that needs fixin' though, yeah.

Indeed, at least now you can spot what you are subscibed to at a glance. I can put up with it squished :)

And what does the dot hotfolder.gift mean?

I can't hardly tell what's a dotfolder.gif, dothotfolder.gif or a locked thread, whatever that .gif is.

.GIF is a Compuserve web image format that can be found all over the web and is probably one of the most common. The picture you're referring to above is a URL directly to the .GIF.

LOL. I know what a .gif is. I just don't know what those specific gifs mean on WHT.

Hotfolders are threads with errrrmmm.. about 15 replies (too lazy to check the cp, but this number can be altered). Hotdotfolders are the same, except that you were one of the people who replied in the thread.

A hot thread is a thread with more than 25 replies or 1500 views.

That's what it says at the bottom of the page anyway.

Thanks. I'm glad someone started this thread. I'd been wondering about all those bugers.
