Like Today.

Does anyone here have any experince with MSOLE 6? If so, please share the wisdom. I need some help here, and I am not going to pay Microsoft $240.00 to speak with a tech to get it.

Can anyone help me out?

See below the post I made below to Microsoft's forums:

Do this.. It has always worked for me when importing just didn't work..

Go to the folder where those DBX files are, and copy the ones you need off to a secure location.

Go into OE, and delete the folders that are giving you trouble..

Close OE, then re-open the program.

Recreate the folders in OE, and copy a message into them.

Go back to the folder where the DBX files are held, and find the ones associated with the folders you just created. Remember the exact filename(s) and delete these files.

Copy your original DBX files back over to this folder, and rename to what they were named in the last step.

Close OE, then re-open the program, and your messages should be available to you.

This has worked for me many times in the past where I couldn't import certain folders. This trick will also work if you've copied raw DBX files from another profile, or another location.

I hope this works out for you. If you need any further help, feel free to email me.

Sorry, no dice.

You know what? I hate microsoft. Screw them. I think I am going to unix before the end of the week on EVERYTHING here. This really pisses me off.

They are the only company IN THE WORLD allowed to pump trash out into the market place, refuse to support it and be totally unliable for any damages they cause.

Even the government cant do anything to them. I am really pissed off.

Any other ideas?

I solved it!

The problem was... MICROSOFT!

I copied all of the .dbx files over to a folder on the desktop. Then I installed Eudora. I imported all of the settings over, and guess what: It works beautifully.

That was the problem all along. Microsoft had 'infected' my e-mail with a viruis called 'MSOLE 6.0'
