View Full Version : Something like paypal and 2checkout
Lirath 11-29-2002, 02:14 PM I plan on using paypal for a payment processor for me.. I also want something LIKE 2checkout
When I say something like 2checkout, I mean I don't want a credit card service that makes my clients sign up into another control panel... except, with all the recent talk about 2checkout, I really don't want to use them.
Is there anyone like 2checkout that hasn't got a bad reputation, and has nice rates?
Lirath 11-29-2002, 05:20 PM anyone on this one?
thomas830 11-29-2002, 05:25 PM check out:
www.paysystems.com
www.ibill.com
If someone cares to consider iBill, be sure to look over their fee (up to 15%):

iKHost 11-29-2002, 05:38 PM revecom is another option
Lirath 11-29-2002, 05:41 PM Ohh, see, I want something exactly like ibill where they can give me a pin number for my products, so I can link directly to a payment page for a certain product..
That way, I create the script that collects client information, then just have a link to a payment site.
One problem, ibill doesn't allow monthly subscriptions greater than $100 - I have a couple high reseller plans or dedicated server plans that are more than $100 a month...
Is there anything almost exactly like ibill and 2checkout in the sense that I can just link to a payment screen?
Lirath 11-29-2002, 05:42 PM Revecom IS paysystems.. :)
iKHost 11-29-2002, 05:45 PM thanks for clarifying that
Lirath 11-30-2002, 08:33 PM Anyone else got any ideas on this?
I'm really looking for something that just lets me have a link for each item I want to be able to have people pay for that sends them directly to a payment page where they type in stuff and hit go.... I don't want my customers to have to have another password and username and control panel...
Something like the way paypal or 2checkout work... ibill would be fine except they limit how large a single or monthly charge can be..
imago-allan 11-30-2002, 08:38 PM Hi!
If you can tolerate iBill charges, maybe you can check out Clickbank. We are using it on our site. We use Paypal as alternative though.
You can even order one of our design packages if you want to try it out. (hehe - joke).
:)
Lirath 11-30-2002, 10:07 PM Heh.. naw, that's a little rich for my blood.. so was ibill :)
Is it more reasonable just to go with a local bank?
insaneraptor 12-01-2002, 12:34 AM ibill is very expensive... i've looked into them too
2checkout.com has terrible service though so consider that if u use them
acameron 12-01-2002, 03:20 AM Use BluePay, it is a standard merchant account with no upfront cost and good rates. It has an easy Perl API so you could do a PIN system in a couple days.

1upromo 12-01-2002, 04:46 AM HƯ,
Bluepay is only for US.
Cyber-Dock 12-01-2002, 05:20 AM I currently use paypal now also, but I am waiting to see if Paysystems can fix their problems. I would like to use them also, but I have to wait and see how they come out. Alot of people I heard are thinking about changing themselves if they don't fix the recurring issue.

do you have a url for bluepay?
Lirath 12-01-2002, 08:55 AM um, try www.bluepay.com ;)
Anyways, does anyone feel it's easier and more reliable just to go with a local bank for credit card processing?
