I see a lot of people asking about which reseller to go for and I always reply – Voxtreme!
Although I’ve had no experience with similar companies which offer reseller plans, I’d have to say going with Voxtreme was a very wise choice.

I’ve been with them since January 2002, first as a virtual client then sometime around April 2002, as a reseller. Never have I once had the thought of swapping hosts, even through the bad times when VDI was more down then up and Dolphin was their only server. (They dealt with the situation in the best way possible and I think it helped them in the efficient manner in which they proceeded to deal with their clients.
11 months on, I’m as much an avid Voxtreme customer as I was in January.

I’ve sent in my fair share of support tickets; hassled all of the Voxtreme guys at some point over ICQ or email and never have they refused to help me. If there was one reason to choose Voxtreme, I would say it is the support. Most of my tickets have been answered within an hour and at the latest a couple of hours.
The support from the staff when I chose to move servers was great! Due to a faulty it took much longer than anticipated to copy all my clients’ files over to the new server but they (Voxtreme) stuck with it and even dealt with any errors that popped up after the move; the reason for moving servers was slow speeds for some of my US customers.
This was later found out to be a faulty NIC and I believe this server is now at full power :D

There was recently some hard drive and motherboard issues with the server, once again I was satisfied with how Voxtreme went about dealing with the problems and since the hardware changes, the server has remained up since then.

I’ve never had a ticket closed when unresolved like I’ve heard has happened with some hosts. the custom scripted support desk Voxtreme have produced is great and once its released we’re planning on at least leasing it if that option is available.
I’ve got help with my PHP scripts from Hendrik on no less than (insert outrageously high stupid number here) occasions and it’s always a pleasure to talk to Matt or Fred on ICQ.

The community forum is a great resource with the backing of intelligent, knowledgeable users who, when Voxtreme aren’t around can handle most of the questions you can think of posting on a message board. It was quite inactive for a while but over the past couple of months it has really picked up and I find it hard to keep up to date with all the latest postings!

Voxtreme is a safe, reliable choice if you’re looking for a reseller account, especially if you’ve got no experience. I couldn’t dream of recommending anyone else at the moment, although I’ll keep this thread updated ;)

One thing worth adding which has impressed me is how Voxtreme have handled their growth - an unknown factor when I chose them last March.

Very smooth. These guys are good.

Voxtreme is good after I had switched from so many host.

I think Voxtreme is the 4th or 5th host that I worked with everysince I start reselling in June.

They are having major email problems at the moment according to a rather worrying, large number of people on their boards lately. Not all emails are entering peoples inboxes and some bounce back.

A large number of people? It's not many.

Also, Voxtreme aren't the only ones affected. Last time I read the thread I think they were saying its affecting a lot of hosts with the cPanel/exim setup.

And they are working on it. :)

Either some websites on their servers.

Anyone knows why?

I can access the site without problem.

I am also a very satisfied Voxtreme reseller for a few months now. Their support is the best I ever experienced with 4 hosting companies since '98. Even the low-priority tickets get answered within minutes.

They are back now, and while I delete my previous post, you reply this thread. :D

While their network is having problem with me,
some of my friends cannot access their websites as well during that period. We're all in CA, and using different ISP.

Anyway, it's back now.

It seems there was a brief NAC outage - it was noted by our network monitor and before I had chance to get in contact with NAC the network came online again. Still waiting for mail from their network mailing list as to the cause.

nothing to do with nacs.

we are having many problems also, of people random cannot connect to random websites on voxtreme.

they fail on http://www.dnsreport.com/ on certain things.

You mean:
Reverse DNS entries for MX records.

however, it seems they cannot handle this.
This has to be done by NAC as well.

We need the reverse dns zones for IPs delegated to us which is not an instantaneous process.

A few people had connection issues as a result of NAC's network. These have now been resolved, and we have a helpdesk for anyone still experiencing issues.

Why does NAC have so many intermittent connection problems, despite generally being fast and stable? Anyone knows anything about this?

Update:

Have now moved to Semi-Dedicated. Once again a very smooth transition with Tony in charge. Rectifying any issues almost instantly. :)

I've sent in an above average amount of tickets this month compared to previous months and the reponse quality hasn't dropped.

The forums seem to be picking up still, still a useful resource and a fun place to hang out.

Still on semi-ded with Voxtreme.

Loads are low, uptime is good. Support is still quick and efficient with the community forums still improving. :)

Would still recommend then to anyone.

Voxtreme is an exceptional reselling host. The only host that I would recommend whole-heartedly and with a "rah rah shish boom bah" to boot.

I've felt kinda guilty for praising Voxtreme's virtues on WHT every chance I get, because I didn't want folks to think that I was spamming the boards ^_^;; I'm thrilled to see that someone else has also taken up the go go voxtreme banner.

I don't see the point of wasting time with hosts that offer you all the benefits of reselling and then provide you with barely enough resources for you to run your own site -_-;; In my personal experience, Voxtreme sales offered me considerably less than what they currently and constantly provide me. But then again, if they had said initially that they would provide me with everything they *are* providing me with... I probably would have thought they were *too good to be true* and shied away. Go figure. 24/7 I get lightening fast support (that's uber-friendly and professional to boot), speed, reliability, reselling and web tips, and more at a fair price. Needless to say, I'm satisfied.

If you want to try only one reseller, this is the company to try ~in my opinion. If you want to try two resellers, pick another reseller, give WHT another rant post to read in a month, then try Voxtreme ^_~
