This is an odd question, and even my host is not sure of the answer.

I have a shared hosting account, separate from our main network and servers, that runs on cPanel. I did ask if I was allowed jailed SSH access, completely forgetting that cPanel does not account for that traffic.

I then asked if the cPanel backup utility uses up the transfer allowance that has been set in cPanel for me. My host is not sure so I thought I would ask here.

Obviously, if I put it into my account and download it that way it will, but if I download it direct from cPanel will it eat into my transfer allowance?
