Hi guys ...
Since most of the people reading here are from the USA with T700 lines connected straight into your fridge, this probably is not a big issue. However for the rest of us plebs with less then desirable internet coonnection speeds, site/page sizes are an issue.
I would like to know if there is a quick and easy way to find out what the size of a web page is and what it would take to load on different connection speeds, I have seen programs that help with this I just can not remember any of them ...
Also another thing is that not to long ao I remember people saying that too much graphics on your site is a bda thing and flash on your home page is a definite no no ... yet I see tons of sites with huge flash banners and the rest of the page being sliced images ... Is this really the new way of doing things or is this yet another example of "We are the USA, resistance is futile, you will be assimilated" ?
