Hi all,

I've been reading and lurking for a while and just registered here.

I was looking at Burst.net web site's CUSTOM SERVER CONFIGURATION page and was curious what is the difference between dual and non-dual processors? What affect is there with the server? Not to seem completely ignorant but I assume it gives you twice the power.

It's not so much twice the power, but the ability to do load balancing. As more and more processes run, they can be divided in the queue to go to both processors, making the box more efficient.

Dual, meaning two. Processor, being CPU. So, yes, instead of one CPU, the motherboard has two. You get not only more processing power, but while one CPU is being used, the other can be for something else, more or less, to offset the wait time.
