Hey all,

I'm considering the move from Resellers Club (DirectI) over to eNom specifically for the ability to automatically process SSL certificate orders via WHMCS. During my research I have obviously noticed several levels of reseller options available direct from eNom. For the better domain base prices it appears I have to spend around $1000.00 to get started.

I have also noted some eNom resellers offering domains starting at similar prices to that of a $1000.00 reseller account direct from eNom, but only requiring a $100.00 deposit to get started.

What benefits are there in purchasing direct from eNom, as appose to an eNom reseller? What level of access do eNom resellers have to domain names purchased by their sub-resellers?

Thanks for your help guys!

I'm sure there is no difference between domain name registrar and domain name reseller as for the end user. I feel more confident with domain name registrar

I don't think there's any real difference in terms of levels. Actually with a WHMCS license you're entitled to a discounted eNom reseller account... $0 minimum deposit. And you actually sign up directly through enom (they have partnered with WHMCS), so you're getting the same level of service as someone who signs up with them directly.

As far as WHMCS is concerned there is no need to move all your domains over to eNom just to use the SSL module. You can continue using ResellerClub for domains and only use eNom for the certificates.

I wasn't actually planning on moving all the domains over to WHMCS. I would keep the Reseller Club account open and simply start registering domains with eNom instead.

Perhaps you could answer a question for me while your here :). What level of access does WHMCS have over domains registered by resellers that have signed up for an eNom account through you?
