Im quasi new to the whole concept of having my own website, but the time has come. My geocities website is always down because I use up my pathetic amount of bandwidth almost instantly, and I dont get to use any of the cool things like perl/php scripts and the cgi bin. I'm currently looking at Edge Host's(edgehost.com) advanced solution for 15 bucks a month gives me everything I need in excess. Has anyone ever had any bad expierience with them and is thier tech support reliable?:cartman:

The best suggestion you would get is to go to this link http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php?s= and search for the keyword "edgehost" or edgehost.com or soemthing similar. that should give you enough things to study and review.
i was with edgehost but moved out due to a router problem they had in recent times which caused alot of down time. But i gotta give credit to their sales person for refunding me because i was in their 14 days initially. Some hosts dont refund even though they advertise.

There are plenty of host providers who can most likely offer what you need for $15 per month. Take your time, search these forums and those of hosts who have them.
Edgehost has had problems lately as AmericanD mentioned.
