I was always under the impression that blending ADs
too much is not allowed by google as it draws users attention to mistakenly click on an AD thinking it is part of the contents.

Example:
Look at the site below:

I found myself very hard to recognize ADs with contents especially at the end of the page, that is even for me, now what about typical users ?

So the main question is; is this kind of blending allowed by Google?

I think that there's a fine line between blending the adverts, and trying to copy them. The example you have provided is trying to copy them.

Thanks Hecky, yes there's a fine line but I don't think he is copying them thought, as what you see in the middle is just the contents but it looks like very similar to the ADs, but again is this kind of trick allowed by Google?

Google allows you to customize the ads so I guess its totally fine, however they may have something in their ToS about leading the visitor into clicking, might be worth checking up on it :agree:

I agree with PulseArray.

Hmm... that's interesting. I can't tell what's an ad and what's their own content. Very tricky :)

From what i have heard about Google suspending adsense accounts it is under googles discretion if your adds are just set to blend in with your design or trick viewers. I would certainly say that website would be crossing the line.

That is definitely contrary to google regs. They have made site content look identical to the google ads. A definite no-no.
