I have used phpBB 1.2.1 primarily because it's free and also because I have been hoping for the vesion 2.0 to come out. But after looking at the capability of VB 2.0, I start to wonder whether the $165 fee can actually be justified. So... is there any such converter that will allow me to port phpBB 1.2.1 into VB 2.0 in case I decide to switch to VB 2.0?

there was a rumor of being one, but that was a rumor, I am thinking of taking a look at BBhacks.com they have an upgrade script to use.

You should look on vbulletin's forum They have a poll on which conversion scriipts to offer. There might even be one already for what you want.
