you could use a CMS like joomla or something and get a premade template and play with it a little. No reason for you to start all the way from scratch.

From now on you should plan everything all the way through, including finances, especially expenditures.

Hi, If im getting you in the right way, What you need is a Web Design template right? Do you know how to code? If not go head over to w3schools.com and you can learn how to or if you want a free template go to http://www.resellerguide.com/p/free-hosting-templates download one the password to the zip file is"resellerguide.com" without the (") Then you simply edit it with a notepad, its simple if you know some css and html. <<snipped>>

What I suggest is to use WordPress for your website and find a template (free or paid) that you can legally customize to your liking.

Hiring someone to make graphics or integrate a template would be cheaper than having them do the entire design by scratch.

You could ask someone to create a site and in exchange provide free hosting or something similar. Just ask on forums, friends, etc. There are plenty of good web designers who need a hosting account.

You can always go basic design, just css based 2/3 column site if you know how to code them. I think it's cool if you gradually improve your site as you earn more money in the future to upgrade your site.

Joomla or Wordpress are a good way to start on your own. I use Joomla myself. Wordpress is easier to learn but Joomla has more to it. Look around there are many CMS out ther to choose from for free. Next time I am sure you will think more inside your budget but don't let it get you down everybody has missed something in the excitement of the momet.

What king of "billing system" are you trying to use? If your site is geared around any type of e-commerce, make sure you take that into account before you make any more decisions. Shopping cart, affiliate marketing, etc. While you should start with quality content, you should always keep different e-commerce possibilities in mind throughout the entire development.

Use a free template and definely go wtih Wordpress to help you with managing content. You can tweak this to your heart's desire, but you will need to spend time to achieve this...

Starting your own hosting company with limited finance can be a challenging struggle although I assure you, it can very well be done and it has before.

The next step to take in your company, I guess would depend on you. If you can code, or use a visual editor well then I would suggest you Google something like, “Free Hosting Templates” if you’re looking for free; or if you’re looking for paid, then you can find several paid template websites that look very nice. Personally, I would suggest that you go grab a Content Management System because it would allow you to keep your website continually updated without added work of Downloading files, Editing Files, Uploading Files and all to find out that you made a mistake and must start the process all over again.

I’ve also included a little guide that you can follow when setting up your website, however you chose to tackle that project.

You need to have 2 very unique pages in your website:

You’re “Index” which is what people view when going to http://yourdomain.com and then also you’re “Hosting Page” as it would be your funnel into your pocket. Then you should include pages such as “About” “Contact” and whatever else you chose to put up on your website for your clients to view.

It’s a very tight industry, so you should really try your hardest to make your website stand out more than the others. You should keep it clean, elegant but most importantly… unique.

I wish you the best of luck in your journey into this industry and I hope you come out the way you want. ;)

You can either use Wordpress or get a free hosting template and edit, and get a unique design later on when your finance support is more steady.

Yes, you could try with some free template - but, in result your website may not look professional enough, did you visit ThemeForest (http://themeforest.net)? You can buy good template for $10 which is ready to use, usually with some sample content which you can simply replace with your own.

All come with manuals and PSD files, and I've already built few sites this way, check how this (http://themeforest.net/item/pandora-html-template-business-portfolio/59025) ($12) has became this (http://freeweb.me/) in few hours. They also offer templates for WordPress or Joomla if you decide for CMS, but they're more expensive.

If you still want to start free, you can find nice free templates here (http://www.freecsstemplates.org/)
