Hello. Kind of new to dedicated servers, have some questions before I actually put get one :) Well, I tried with Raq and WHM/Cpanel before. learnt how to do most of the daily tasks while I was "playing" around with them (let's hope it has not been rusty after months, but anyway I will get my fren to help)
So my question now is, which one in your opinion is *better* for me to start up my web hosting biz as in *easy to manage* and *features*? I am deciding between a Raq 550 from tera-byte (always like their support) or a WHM/Cpanel server (provider is yet to decide). I think that Raq is easier to manage, but a lot of weird troubles (even updating patches from Cobalt can cause some problems), and WHM/CPanel definitely has more features (but a bit pricy and I am not that familiar with it).
Please don't ask me to start with reseller plans, I was a reseller. Have a fren who has some project coming up soon which need a host to host it. So either I be the host and host it to get some big bucks, or I get someone to host it (which I am not considering at all currently). He wants no reseller. :(
Btw, if you can supply your reasons of why choose A over B, it would be great for me to refer and make a good decision :) and plz forgive my bad English. :)
