I want to start my domain reselling business, but I got a lot of headache when searhing around.

The problems:
1. A lot of registrar require my customer to do credit card order, but in area, Indonesia, not much people have credit card.
2. I have little knowledge about programming.
3. The big boys need so much initial payment, like US$500, etc.

My requirements:
1. I need no credit card order for my customer. My customer just pay me directly (I had the way of course) and I will add some credit to their account. So they can use the credit to register domain name directly (online to the registrar).
2. No setup fee for me (As a reseller) is better.
3. Can get below US$10 per domain per year.

I'm dreaming?

Due to a huge number of credit card fraud from Indonesia, I don't think its wise for you to access credit card. However, I've seen a lot of Indonesian online merchant doing either wire or klikbca. I would use klikbca if I were you, its easy and doesn't cost a lot for your customer as well.

i have bad english, but maybe i can give you a small trick

you can use indonesian bank account, such as BII, BCA, or another one.. i want to make a web hosting company too..
maybe we can work together.. i have BII bank account in here.. but if you want, i can help you to sign up a bank account for you..

about many indonesian people use a credit card from fraud, YES, that's a lot. the best way is just accept the directly payment from your bank account..

many bad people on here, but so many people is the good guys..

just some tips :)

1. Open an BCA bank account
2. Receive order from your client
3. Tell them to send a payment directly to your BCA
4. Register their domain ASAP after received the payment
5. Serve your client well and don't play a poor game with their money
6. Remember that you just biz/play with their trust !!!

You might be able to use PayPal if you just add a bank account to it. It's a pretty easy way to transfer money with customers. Some people do not prefer PayPal though because they have to make another account and can't just use their credit card.

AFAIK, PayPal don't accept transaction & merchant from Indonesia...

Is there any Indonesian company out there offering domain name reselling programme?

I'd agree with those who said there's a lot of credit card fraud in Indonesia. Better be extra careful if you do want to accept payment by credit card.

Well, isn't there only one company that does Indonesian domain registration ?

For Indonesian domains (*.ID), you can register it ONLY at IDNIC. They are a non-profit organization, under APJII - Indonesian Internet Association. Indonesian domain was dedicated for Indonesian citizen only, and they have no any reselling programs.
