i have superlongdomain.com and tinydomain.com for a client of mine.
this client has about 20 employees and therefore about 20 email addresses.
we started with the emails using the superlongdomain.com host email services and once we got tinydomain.com they wanted to switch their email addresses to the shorter domain name but also wanted to get email to the old domain.
via godaddy i am forwarding each email address from the shorter domain name to the longer domain name...one at a time. it is a pain to manage with employee turnover (dropping and adding new addresses).
i was hoping there is a global email address function. meaning any email to tinydomain.com gets forwarded to the respective account on superlongdomain.com automatically with no maintenance for me.
is there such a product/function that a registrar handles?
if not, can this be handled in the DNS somehow? i have searched a few times and found nothing to do this globally.
thanks.
