Do you provide Tier -1 bandwidth alone at 25$/mbps or do you have to have cogent for the colocation?

I actually was looking at this special on your site yesterday. Any chance of getting an XP processor in there for a small one time fee instead of the Duron? I know you offer XP machines, but the setup fees on those aren't to my liking :D

Which support issues are covered?
How much for extra IP's?
How much for extra transfer? (I'm too lazy to go looking on your site ;) )
If it isn't Cogent, who is it then?

it's Aleron, afaik.
ping times look nice from Germany ...
jus trace to their website.

best regards,

silversurfer,

The Tier-1 bandwidth is an additional US$25.00 per Mbps upgrade from the Cogent bandwidth pricing listed.

I am sorry, that was not clearer.
I will update the original post.

Tazzman,

Dedicated support covers: Connectivity, Hardware, and OS FaQ's.
Colo Support Covers: Connectivity

Currently we are not charging for IP's, but are required to meet RFC 2050.

Extra Transfer is US$0.35.

Bandwidth is Aleron

Single homed, or is there a fail safe present?

Emailed your sales department about a possible XP processor, so I guess that will be handled via email :)

Tazzman,

Aleron's main POP is actually in the next cage over.

Since this is their main POP all of their equpiment, and lines are redundant already.

The only way it would go offline, is if someone physically cut our cross connect to them.

Yes, we allow legal adult content (NO Child Porn)

Please e-mail us directly at sales@serveroutsource.net, as we do not post IP's due to attacks.

We offer Plesk 5.x with some of our servers.

A 4U is about 1/8 of a rack, or is it for a mini-tower case?

For 2U, we can waive the monthly space fee, and you could just pay for a minimum of 1Mbps bandwidth (Aleron).

Colo pricing can be found at:
http://serveroutsource.net/products/colocation/index.htm

The badnwidth starts off at 1Mbps, and can go in 512kbps after that.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
