Anyone know of anybody that offers R1Soft CDP as a white label solution for resellers?

you should signup with R1soft yourself as a hosting provider

Well they've increased prices for non hosting partner. So if you're not spending a significant amount of money (enough to have 30+ agents) it's not worth it. So I can see this standpoint of wanting either a server or strictly licenses. I know if we weren't a hosting partner I'd look at alternatives to purchase licenses.

Ah yeah, I saw that topic on WHT a few days ago.
Sorry, I don't know any resellers

Yep. Exactly. Looking for someone who resells the environment as a whole package that we can slap a companies name on.

I know Steadfast has dedicated R1Soft backup servers available... Not sure if that is exactly what you are looking for but it would give you means of customizing your environment.

SiriusIt's quite simple for anyone offering R1Soft CDP backup services to provide such a service, the general problem is a CDP server can only have one hostname. So for example if you want cPanel, Plesk, Ensim or DirectAdmin integration it would show up with whatever server name when clicked on.

A simple generic server.randomdomain.com allows some transparency. If you wanted to have your own branded url you would need to run another instance of the CDP backup server.

You can also disable branding from the control panel.

These aren't going to be backing up any servers with control panels. All Win32/64 boxes.

I guess it really would depend on how often and how many agents are needed. If you have a decent amount of servers and want frequent backup times you may be better off setting up your own server and leasing agents from a R1soft partner.

All Win32/64 boxes. Then it would only be the hostname for the control panel for when they need to recover any files, unless you would keep full control over restores and action any requests that come in and also the IP (whois) of the CDP server that would give away any anonymity. You can get a small allocation in your name from any DC to cover that side of things.

To be honest it sounds like any out of the box solutions offered by multiple people at present would most likely suit your needs. You could just get a dedicated server in your company name and get some SATA/SAS space from the DC to store the data securely (off loading that burden on yourself). Most data centres these days will be able to lease you R1Soft licences. The software is extremely simple to manage and once setup basically runs on it's own.

If you want to play around with the visible parts of the client/control panel let me know and I can set you up with a demo so you can get a better understanding of the product.

Are you looking for offsite backups or the ability to backup to your own DC?

Are you looking for offsite backups or the ability to backup to your own DC?It sounds like he has a business that is interested in backing up workstations.
