Maybe I missed it but is there a cd drive and is there room in the case for an added HD?

CD drive is opitional, but there is a slot for it.
It has room for a 2nd hard disk and even a 3rd if you dont use the CD rom. The 300 Watt power supplies supports 3 disks as well and unlike many single CPU Intel boards, this one can handle 1GB RAM. Most are confined to 512MB.
Also, the hard drives are mounted on one of the only dampening system in the industry. It eliminates effects of vibration effecting the hard disks. If you saw how the drives mount, you would wonder why no one else builds the mounts like this.
Can you come off that price at all? We are building our own with pretty much identical parts for $492 / piece. (shipped)
- newegg.com -> all the bits and pieces
- aicmicro.com -> the $155.00 1U case
- pc-pitstop -> Thermaltake 1U fans
What do your cases have that make them better than what we are buying?
We are def. interested if you can make it worth our while =).

aicmicro.com -> the $155.00 1U case
Where is the case? What type of power supply does it have? Does your server support 1 GB RAM with a 1.2 GHz Chip?
I see this on aicmicro.com:
$365 - Enlight 1460SX 1U Rackmount w/200Watt P4 Ready Power Supply
$205 - Enlight 2100SX1R 1U Rackmount w/150Watt P4 Ready Power Supply
$183 - Topower 1060A 1U Aluminum Rackmount w/200Watt P4 Ready Power Supply
$830 -Gigabyte GS-SR113 1U Pentium 4 Rackmount Server IDE Solution Supports 2 Quick-Swap IDE HDD Bay & Two RJ45 LAN

jic, you should use the aluminum 1u cases over at newegg, they're a steal at $180, great cooling, 4 internal fans, 250watt power.
also, newegg now stocks the thermaltake fans. so you can purchase everything directly from them and save a bundle on shipping.

Hey Boris,
Where can we find these $180 1U rackmount cases from newegg?
I searched quite a bit, and did not find any.
Regards.
Boris,
Yeah I usually get my Thermaltakes from them but they are always sold out =X. We had an order for 3 servers this week and pc-pitstop / newegg AND thermaltake were all out. We had to go with a *comparable* brand :)
I am going to give those newegg servers a go.
colo:
I think its the Thermaltake 1050A. Yes our boxes all support 1 GB of ram (we only give our customers the option of 512 / 1 GB).
