View Full Version : Greatest questions asked by customers!
gwnetime 11-27-2002, 04:15 PM Does Yahoo come installed on that computer?
How many motherboards come installed on my new computer?
Honestly, how do you answer such stupid questions like these! I felt that the persons buying computers from me that ask these questions shouldnt own a home pc.
If anyone has good questions please post!
Thanx.
MDJ2000 11-27-2002, 04:17 PM You say, "Yahoo is available for a small monthly fee" :)
Darth 11-27-2002, 04:43 PM haha, simply brilliant. Yahoo can be installed for a small setup fee of $100 :D

BisonSt 11-27-2002, 05:30 PM I had the following conversation with a new customer.
Customer - "Where do I ship the disk to?"
Me - "What disk?"
Customer - "The one with my website on it. How else are you going to put it on your server? Don't you know anything?"
phpcoder 11-27-2002, 06:05 PM Do I upload to public_html?

BisonSt 11-27-2002, 06:08 PM Sometimes I just have to hold back the laughter and remember that at one point in my life I didn't know RAM from ROM or a hard drive from a floppy disk.
TowerHost 11-27-2002, 06:13 PM What!!! You mean you don't provide a new motherboard with each new hosting account :D
BisonSt 11-27-2002, 06:21 PM I know that you have probably had to deal with difficult customers regarding the issue of their domain name having to propogate.
I had a new customer tell me that I was lying and that I just wanted the extra 24-48hrs to set his account up completely. This guy got so mad that he cancelled his account and threatened to report me to the Better Business Burea.

Crazy!
BisonSt 11-27-2002, 06:42 PM What I failed to mention was the reason the guy felt that way was that he had only used free web hosting up to that point and couldn't understand why free hosting worked immediately and paid hosting did not.
Marts 11-27-2002, 06:48 PM Customer: How do I access whm?
Me: Goto yourdomain.com/whm
Customer: It says page cannot be found
Me: Looks up there domain name to make it a little clearer for them!
 :D
BisonSt 11-27-2002, 06:50 PM Go to "yourdomain.com" = Press "any key"
Where's the "Any" key?
