Does anyone know of a reliable & cost effective method or provider that will perform a security analysis on our network?
We have requests from a potential client for this to be done to our network of Colocated servers. We've requested information from netcraft.net but thier response doesn't quite fit our budget. ($10,000 was the quote. As for our budget....welp, we'd like to stay on payroll!)
How does everyone else approach the subject with thier network or customer requests?

We do security penetration tests as well as server lockdowns. You don't have email enabled on your profile, so I couldn't email you. Send me an email and we'll talk.

Well, I'd offer my services, but I'm not sure if that would mean it (this thread) would deemed as best appropriate in the advertising forum... so I'll hold off on that. :-)
The price likely greatly depends on the size of your network, what type of systems/platform's you're running, what type of programs and services you intend to run, how far you want to go with getting things better secured and in what manner. A lot of variables go into the mix, but people often do charge far too much.
