Anyone know of a good load simulator for web servers or even if such a thing exists? I need something to test the performance of a VPS node configurations before deploying them into production. The kind of thing where you carve up 15 containers on your node, deploy the OS and then run a script that creates a simulated load.

I'm not looking for benchmarking tools (thinking Unix Bench here), rather something that can simulate the load of say 50 simultaneous users on a forum for example and then run that across all node to see what the bottle necks are in the real world.
