Anyone else get poor support from Netacore? When I was signed up, I was presented with one of the best handled "getting up and running"s I have ever dealt with. Now that I have exceeded my bandwidth and the site is shut down, I cannot reach anyone for support. Emergency emails, "24/7 Support" request tickets, even tried ICQ's. nothing seems to get a response.
Is this the trend coming now that I see about 10,000,000 people on here trying to be a webhost? Signing people up and forgetting about the whole supporting them end of the deal? Putting "24/7 Support!" on your webpage and then not really having 24/7 support? I wouldn't say that, but this is my 2nd experience with shoddy support and this is my 2nd try at a hosting company.
Has anyone else had trouble with Netacore? With the amount of hosting choices available, how can you afford to run it like this?

The only support request received was a trouble ticket which was already answered.
You were already given 5GB of additional free bandwidth for the month, if there is something else that can be done for you, please document it in a trouble ticket.

Unfortunately yes... a lot of people defend Norm on here ... but after hosting with them for a few months I gave up ... there are occasional downtime with the biggest problems being DNS errors ....
The service is really bad ... I am not sure if it's true but it looks like it's an umnanaged one man show .... it took me on average between 3-7 days to get a reply to tickets and emails.... and the forum and support desk are almost never avliable ...
So in summary I found it was NOT a good choice ...

Norm,
I didn't notice the 5 gigs extra, it cut off right at 25 as advertised, however, you could give me 20 Gigs extra a month but it STILL has nothing to do with your advertising 24/7 support and not holding to that end. I think you mean 24/7 submitting trouble tickets.
When my site goes down, I need support. You offer 24/7 support, I suggest you just hold up to your end of the deal.
Thanks for the timely response once I posted here. Why didn't you just return my emails or return my messages? ICQ? The netacore forums? Bah.

AtaRi ... once again unfortunately you will find that some of the hosts will ignore you personally but once you post on WHT .. they 'mysteriously' reappear ...

I see that. Very unfortunate as having so many hosts available to customers can be a double edged sword to hosts if they fall down on support.
I loved the service Norm gave me in the begginning. VERY personal, responded to every email.. Not since I got signed up tho. I am sure he will respond here again before his own forums.
Check them out.. Lots of questions from people unanswered.. i bet if they posted here they would get a response..
Does this not seem strange from a buisiness aspect??

HingyGuy,
Atari was not ignored.
His trouble ticket [which was originally addressed to sales] was responded to before the WHT posting.
The trouble ticket addressed to 'sales' was open for 10 hours before it was resolved.

I also had good support in the beggining ...
But as I said before .. it got so bad that I had to leave the company ...

10 hours is still too long for resolution for a sales ticket question, but the time is being worked on.
Netacore is not a one man show nor a fly-by-night operation.
More staff will be added shortly in response to the few customer complaints re: support response.
HingyGuy, I hope your new host provided you a better experience.
Take care

They have ... and normplease do not take my answers/comments as a personal attack, i am just sharing my less then happy experiences with the thread starter as well as making general comments on some of the smaller hosts ...
Best of luck to you in the improved business ....
