I was going to give this a trial for the free 6 months as it is what I have been looking for as an additional service, but your site asks me for my credit card details and is not showing as a secure site?
I feel dubious about providing this information when the site is not showing secure, (though I am not questioning your integrity).

Hi,

The signup form switches to a secure site as soon as you start putting in your personal and payment information, so it is secure. It is not secured at the start while putting in the domain and selecting the hosting package.

Also be advised that THE PLAN which has the 6 months free trial has a $9.95 setup fee.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at: sales@addaction.net or by the info on our site.

Sorry, but I don't see the padlock icon when I am asked to submit my credit card details and I get the following message when the popup tells me the site is secure/insecure:-

"The Web site you are viewing is a secure site. It uses a security protocol such as SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) or PCT (Private Communications Technology) to secure the information you send and receive.
When sites use a security protocol, information that you provide, such as your name or credit-card number, is encrypted so that other people can’t read it. However, this Web page also contains items that do not use this secure protocol.
Given what you know about this Web site and your computer, you must decide whether to continue working with this site.

If you do not feel confident about working with this site, click No."

Sorry about my ignorance but normally I don't see this on secure sites, does it mean that you just use a certificate that you have made yourselves or is it some other lesser certificate, or is there something else?

Everything you see on our site in that form is secured.

It might be that you use an older version of your browser that is not compatible with our certificate. But as the browser message tells you, it is a secure site. Or you look at our pages via a frame from another site? in that case the other elements in your browser would give you that message.

The site is secured by: SSL 3.0, RC4 with 128 bit encryption (High); RSA with 1024 bit exchange

If you are in the US, give us a call and we can setup your account over the phone: 1-877-HOST-ME-2

We need to activate your account first before you can login. Please e-mail us directly as communicating via WHT is less efficient. This normally takes 30 min and not 2 to 3 days, this is just a safeguard for fraudulent orders.
