View Full Version : Starting a GameHostCompany
cartigan 01-25-2010, 05:14 AM Hello guys, i`am starting a company based on Brazil, but i`am searching for some TEMPLATE for my website, my budget is max $200.
Also, i`am searching for a solution where i can handle my costumers, and know when the server expires etc.WHMCS i think is too much big for me,i need something smaller and easy to setup.
Thanks.
OptimizedShells 01-25-2010, 05:37 AM try themeforest.net for cheap templates, where will you host your servers? try steadfast.net for excellent game server provider.
cartigan 01-25-2010, 05:38 AM Its based on Brazil, i already have the dedis. But you dont answered the last question, how can i handle my costumers?Expiration days, resent the invoice etc...

WHMCS offer a free 15 day trial, try them out :)
cartigan 01-25-2010, 07:29 AM I have been used WHMCS, dont have a solution more easy/simple?
XFactorServers 01-25-2010, 08:55 AM I have been used WHMCS, dont have a solution more easy/simple?
If you think WHMCS is hard to use I would re consider starting a business.
cartigan 01-25-2010, 09:44 AM I mean i want something more simple, different.
ms-warren 01-25-2010, 12:29 PM If WHMCS isn't for you, you can go ahead and try ClientExec. As for website, I am sure you can find a designer on these forums that can do a good job for you for $200
[CTI] Todd 01-25-2010, 07:45 PM You could also try Blesta (http://www.blesta.com). Haven't used it myself, but looks interesting.
kapz01 03-17-2010, 01:06 AM If you are truly on a tight budget, you might want a free and open-source client. Then again, if you have a very tight budget, I would reconsider getting into the GameServer business itself. It requires a decent amount of initial investment + out-of-pocket purchases until you get a good client-base.
PsyHost 03-17-2010, 03:28 AM Maybe you should try merging with a smaller company who is looking to expand their services, that way they will handle the billing/client management and you can just do the server management/handling side of things?
psybergaming 03-18-2010, 11:46 PM you should try out the design offers/request section and look for people that are offering premade custom templates.
neXeon 03-19-2010, 01:49 AM Which game control panel do you use?
Hosting50 03-19-2010, 04:23 AM Hello,
You might want to use gamecp, as I know it have a billing system in too.
BH-Greg 03-21-2010, 01:33 PM Gamecp is a great control panel for gameservers that has built in billing.
vincent91326 03-21-2010, 04:20 PM I have a question, when running a game server do you need to have the games installed on the server? Or you just need a control panel or how would it work?
LM-AndrewS 03-27-2010, 06:05 PM Never thought of GameCP! Seem so good to me.
Hybridsoft 03-27-2010, 08:45 PM Ive used CGPS cPanel's addon a few times
RDOSTI 03-28-2010, 01:14 AM Again the question - do you need games installed or will it just search and find
HOD-Jardin 03-28-2010, 01:24 AM If you are use the most common gaming control panel (TCAdmin which runs on the Windows Platform) you will need the game files.
xtekhosting 04-04-2010, 07:08 PM try templatemonster.com for templates, and WHMCS is really simple... it does everything for you :)
mattdahack 04-05-2010, 03:34 PM Yeah GameCP is great
