Not a fan of master resellers and have never tried any. But imo, you'd be better off going with a VPS. You'll be able to sell reseller accounts and you'll have a lot more control with full branding control. Just an idea for you.

It would cost a bit more but it's worth it. If you don't sell shared hosting yet, I'd also recommend you start off with regular reseller hosting first. Sell a couple of shared hosting accounts so you get the feel of the business. Rushing things will only cause you to make mistakes.

Hello,
It may be best to check the "Offers" section of this forum, as you can see several options. Just beware of those "Unlimited" Master Reseller hosting providers.

Well what kind of a budget do you have? You may be able to get a small VPS and slowly upgrade as you grow.

Are you looking for 'best' in terms of quality or price.
Many hosts offer master plans with huge amount of disk space and bandwidth at very cheap price so make sure you choose a reasonable plan.
You can try this link (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/hostquote.php) to request quote from hosting providers.

Do a search on the forums for feedback, the problem with using a VPS is that your clients will know they are being hosted on a VPS and not a server.

how would the clients know that their shared hosting account is on a vps and not a dedicated server?

Very simple. Whenever they will login to cPanel, they will see "cPanle VPS Optimized" logo in the top right corner. That's why they can know where they are hosted, either on a VPS or on a dedicated.

Anyone can replace their "cPanel VPS Optimized" logo with "cPanel Dedicated Server" logo.

But these days being hosted on a VPS is not really an issue, now with all these new cloud shared hosting providers, they obviously have to run the VPS edition of cPanel... also some other companies just use this option to cut licensing costs (as far as I know Dedicated server licenses of several scripts are more expensive than VPS ones)

Here is the code to change the "cPanel VPS Optimized" permanently to the "cPanel Dedicated Server" logo. It will never change back over to the vps logo even if you run cpanel updates.

cd /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/themes/x
cp logo_vps.jpg logo_vps.jpg.bak
rm -f logo_vps.jpg
wget http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/6808/logovpsxg9.jpg
mv logovpsxg9.jpg logo_vps.jpg

echo "/usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/themes/x/logo_vps.jpg" >> /etc/cpanelsync.exclude
cd /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3/branding
cp top-logo_vps2.png top-logo_vps2.png.bak
rm -f top-logo_vps2.png
cp -f top-logo.png top-logo_vps2.png

echo "/usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x3/branding/top-logo_vps2.png" >> /etc/cpanelsync.exclude

innohosting or turnkeyinternet do provide master reseller hosting and they are very popular here. Its suggested to look into offers sections or go through reviews.

We do not provide master reseller hosting, never have done and it's not something we think is a good idea either ;)

Sorry Rameen, Actually you do not, You were running in the mind for your resellers hosting :) Thanks for clearing up.

True said it was EZPZ however they had some bad times recently with their servers, still they are doing good.

Also to OP - I had seen some host running their birthday promotion for master hosting was almost 100%off for the trial period but unfortunatly not able to recall their name. You can do a search to find them or lucky to get a free trial.

Well yes that makes a problem to clients some times, when they see that they are being hosted on a VPS.

Why not get a VPS and get root access. more freedom and much more stable. Would be my choice because with a VPS you can set your own limits to PHP, including max upload size and ect.
