View Full Version : Usenet out of new posts

I suppose having access to some relevant usenet groups is a good feature but it's interfering with the way I use WHT and I'm trying to figure out if I can get around it.

When I get to WHT I just go to the "new posts" search and browse through there. I love the fact that I can do this from work and home and be pretty much assured I won't miss many interesting threads.

While the Usenet stuff might be useful to some I pretty much don't care about it. And with the volume of Usenet stuff it's overwhelming the new posts search.

Is there a way to filter the usenet groups out of the new posts search? Even better would be to be able to specify exactly what forums the new posts would consider.

I hate to post to just say me too, but I posted this on another thread and no one will see it because of the USENET flood!

So, me too!

Filtering USENET out of the View New Posts search would solve my problem as well.

How about a second installation of vBulletin that is just serving USENET... :stickout
