I could find an available domain name with 5 letters << domain removed >> I don't know whether 5 letters domain names are worth buying. What do you think, is it worth atleast for the registration charge we pay?

please advice.

17,576 3 Letter combinations
456,976 4 Letter combinations
11,881,376 5 Letter combinations

IHMO 5 letter domains aren't worth anything just because they are 5 letters.

It's been said that shorter .com's are worth more than other tlds however in the future if your planning on buying a domain you might not want to list it in a forum because someone else is likely to snatch it up knowing that you want it.

never, never, never put your ideas on public before they are done. if the idea is good - other people will use it right away. if it is bad - oh well, at least you tried.

They're not worth much now... but in a few years the price will go up!

Five character domain names are worthless unless they have some meaning or are brandable. In the latter case you need to wait longer for an end user :)

Shorter .com is always worth. But 4 is more pretty!

I don't think that random letters 5 characters domains are worth anything.
I'm doing a weekly search for domains 4-5 letters .com and there are more than 100 every day dropped. half of those get available trough reg fee.

If your interested into this lists, let me know, but as i say, domains price is going down because of recession and i don't see any signs of them bouncing back, at least not yet.

I think the 5 letter domains are worth, but still the .com are available just try to find them

I still cant send PMs, because i'm new. But once i have authority to post i will send them. I'm doing now search for 5 letter .com.
