I am looking to run Magento on a VPS. Does anyone know how much Ram it should need? The server I am looking at is a Core i7 (www.pcsmarthosting.co.uk)

I currently have a magento setup running on a shared hosting account and it is so slow.

Any Advice?

Are you going to be using a control panel like cPanel?

If so I would recommend at least 1Gb of RAM.
