Ok i thought i had this install all good and well... well i guess not. I dealted Windows XP. I want to install Windows 2000 Pro. Now... I tried the win 2k boot disks but i got a error on the second boot disk. Now I went to fdisk and made a partition and set it active... now i get a error saying " Missing Operating System " Bleh! i need help. i tried to get back in FDISK but can't... that error is in the way. Someone please help me

Install linux... All these problems would be gone... ;)

Alternatively, most of windows cds are cd bootable too, Just boot with them... Hope it helps... :)

Some one there will help you out. Note that they may not be as quick to reply as WHT is, but they are very good at trouble shooting PC's.

Actually the reasons could be many.
Here are some
1) Is your harddisk detected.
2) If yes try booting with the XP rescue disks may help.
3) Try a boot disk for Dos or Win from bootdisk.com and run fdisk...

There could be many other issues... These are just some that come to my mind....
