Dear Providers,
I am selling hosting templates in this website and am facing problem after sold and getting payment via paypal.
Some FAKE buyers interested buy templates and they sending payment via paypal. After getting complete template source files...immediately they contacting paypal resolution center and open case like " Unauthorized payment" or " simply saying template worthless" But they using purchased designs, because they having all source files.
What we do on this type of fraud buyers? Any one faced bad experience like this? Please post your comments..this will help for all other providers. Also, paypal is helpless for these case.
Thanks.

Paypal should side with you, have you provided all the details for the transactions and explained that you are selling virtual/intangible product?

Yes, I contacted paypal. I showed them MSN messenger chat proof and transaction details too. They wont accepting.
But if they Claim "Unauthorized transaction" we have no option in paypal resolution center...try to explain our situation.
I tried all the way.

You should call PayPal and tell them your side of the story and clearly explain it's an intangible good which has been delivered. Provide printed copies of emails etc if necessary.
This has happened to me a couple of times. The first time the buyer issued a chargeback about three weeks after I completed a custom wordpress theme for them. Because I had already withdrawn the funds after the project was complete, I was given a negative balance which I had to pay back. Chargebacks are a pain in the butt with PayPal - the best thing to do is tell your customer that you do not accept payments funded via credit card.
The second time, funnily enough, was last night. I was buyer unusally paid 20% more than the asking price "for keeping me up late". I thought this was unusual already, but then when the payment came through PayPal told me not to deliver any goods because the payment was under review. I was suspicious and told the buyer that I wouldn't send the files until the payment cleared - which it did not. PayPal email'd me saying "This payment may not have been authorized by the account holder. Funds are currently on hold".
Once the 'buyer' caught wind of what was going on I immediately received notice that a chargeback had been issued - which is when I refunded the funds which were on hold to this 'buyer' and decided not to sell the template.
So beware...
I think there should be some sort of blacklist of email addresses etc which these people are using, so that we can check against it if we are suspicious.
The 'buyer' from last night was using the following MSN address: Admin@seedhosting.us.

Yes, I would be cautious. Seedhosting.us is nothing more than a rotten scam who was caught using Hostnines template and have stolen more in that time.
I would be directing PayPal to both this thread and the other above as evidence. :)

Funny that, he said that he lives in China but he also said who puts their real information on the Internet? ;)
- This guy is dodgy in so many ways and just to add if he was untouchable why would his ripped hostnine template be taken down?
Think about it!

Paypal would definitely side with you, just make sure you document everything and can provide proof of the transfer of the source files etc. Goodluck and be prepared for such events as this to happen.

Are you sending them invoices? Send them an invoice clearly stating what it is and linking to it so that when they pay it, they are knowingly paying (even though they are knowingly paying in the first place).
