I've been reading about some colo places on WHT... I'm looking for some colo deals in the U.S. I've looked at http://www.unitedcolo.com/colocation.htm and http://www.informationwave.net/services/colocation/index.php (plan 3) but am looking for more companies in my price range of $50-$100 (monthly) for a 2U rackmount server (at least 100GB transfer).

Anyone had any pos/neg experiences with informationwave?

Thanks!

you can't beat unitedcolo's $50/m for 500gb bandwidth... I have a server there and I like it (im one of the few I guess).

Colo is rackspace. That should not be to expensive. The quality of the bandwidth, power, swtich if needed etc would take your top dollar.

Kind regards

Uptime is my number one priority, I mean both server-wise and network-wise. I'm looking for multi-homed bandwidth, and not just Cogent-only :)

LOL. Not to single you out, as your request is standard fare for this forum, but no matter who you go with, you're not going to get uptime (much less 100GB) for 2U/$50. Set your expectations accordingly.

Thank you. A slice of reality is always welcome in this august forum.

The guy who owns informationwave is an ******* but he is quite clueful. You won't have to worry about downtime if you go with him.
