meaning...

YOU ALL GONNA GET WARNED!

But seeing as you're new here, you probably haven't read the forum rules.

There you go, some bed time reading!

EDIT: Rule I was referring to was the one that says that you can't instruct a member to check their email or private messages, including in the advertising forum.

Yes, I second what Fazel3 said. You can't tell anyone that an email is sent or a PM is sent.

But, I still think WHT has to improve on that "new PM message" pop up or something. Sometimes people just miss if they have a new PM.

:)

I think WHT should upgrade to VB 2.2.8

Allan,

I agree with you there but the reason the mods put that rule into place was threads like these kept developing, where there were post upon post of "check your PMs". It's also beneficial if people post their quotes here instead of doing privately, you never know, someone else might be interested in what you're offering!

Whatever the decision is, you can always turn on the feature that notifies you that you've got a Private Message (thank god I did that, or I'd never have seen your message the other day!). Regarding emails - WHO DOESN'T CHECK THEIR EMAILS!?

Anyway back to the topic of the thread,

try getting in touch with Creedance (his msn is talent @ hostingcreations.com), he's very talented and great at flash! Also quite cheap.

Azaloth, you may think your work is worth in excess of a $1000, but that doesn't mean other people charge the same. Most design w/flash sell here for a ball park figure ranging from $200-600. Maybe the figure being offered isn't worth anything to you but for others it may mean a lot more. Don't bother rubbishing his offer, because the only consequence is this will reflect poorly on you in the future. His offer wasn't outrageous, maybe on the low side, but certainly nothing to flame him about. Besides did you bother to look at the site he linked everyone to? It's hardly a pixelbrick design he's looking for.

If you can't offer him the service, don't spoil his thread.
