Users,

Basically, we're currently running from WHMCS. We want to move to something more advanced, that will easily support multiple brands.

For example:
We have different websites such as www.pcbuilds.com and www.websitebuilder.com. We only want the clients to from pcbuilds.com to view products appropriate to pcbuilds.com and so on. But we're going to have a main portal for general billing and support. So www.groupwebsite.com users from all brands should be able to login with the same information and view products, invoices, support for the entire brand range.

The idea of this, is separate billing areas but all managed through one admin area to keep everything tidy.

(Sorry if this is hard to understand)

We're been recommended Ubersmith billing for this. We're using WHMCS which has automatic modules for Cast Control servers, SolusVM VPS Management etc.

I know Ubersmith has cPanel modules. But I need automatic modules for these other products.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Also, getting them built specifically for us isn't out of the question. It depends on cost, and how easy it will be.

Cheers for taking the time to read my thread.

Tim.

Ubersmith will happily support the multiple brands. The things that might be a bit of a learning curve are the order forms which can be interesting and yes you will need to get custom modules written for SolusVM etc. Last time I wrote a module it wasn't to hard to get it going but like all things you pay for what you get

I assume in WHMCS you have set up different categories for your different brands.

As the license is tied to the domain you login to the admin area, you can use the WHMCS API to display only one category on one site, and a different one on a second domain, without having to pay for a second license.

You can also have a central domain where products from all your brands are displayed, as well as where you administer WHMCS from.

Tim,

We have used Ubersmith extensively for a number of years now and have some custom coding for it. I can tell you that pretty much anything is possible. You can contact their support team directly as well and they will give you an idea of how to get something done. I have never used WHMCS, but I do recommend Ubersmith without a moment of hesitation.
