Why do i have this directory structure @ /home/sites:

home
site1
www.hosttrack.com (205.155.69.205)
www.hottracker.com (205.155.69.205)

I only have 2 domains:

hosttrack.com (server name)
hottracker.com

site1 and hottracker appear to contain the same information. I want to get rid of site1 and only use hottracker.

???

I am not positive on this, but I do not think you can get rid of primary account of the server -- at least through the control panel.

You would have to set the server up again and change site 2 to site 1.

Site1 is the REAL directory name and hottracker.com is a virtual link to it... I think (not positive) that you can delete the hottracker.com link but the real site must remain as your whole webserver setup points to it for that domain.

These domains are on different IPs

www.hosttrack.com (205.155.69.205)

www.hottracker.com (205.155.69.206)
site1 responds to 205.155.69.206

It doesn't matter - one is still a link/pointer to the other, not a directory with data in it.

The main account for your server is "HOME" this folder.

It's not "SITE1". "SITE1" is the folder for the first domain (other than the main domain name for server) on your box.

Correct me if I am wrong. But my raq is like that.
