Greetings All,
I am a graphic designer and fine artist who's been primarily designing for print over the past 15 years. I'm saying this with out ego- I am regarded as very good at what I do...but none of that matters as I'm starting out from scratch with web design!
I may be a 'Black Belt' at sending work to press- color correcting, direct to plate, doing 'guru' stuff with pdf workflows and all manner of trapping and such...but I am starting out as a 'White Belt' to get into web design!!
At least that's how this feels, and I have to say it feels exciting, and cool all over again.
Specifically, I am getting into web design to create a retail site to sell wall decor on. My wife and I have our own line of images- and we want an outlet for our studio. I also work for an Art publisher as lead designer- so I understand my industry and see many opportunities within it.
