Hello WHT, long time no post.

I am looking at starting a website for people in my local area to advertise items for sale, however i do not have enough php knowledge to make it from scratch.
I am capable of modifying php scripts however, and am very confident with html and css.

Basically, the website will allow users to post up items they have for sale, and the items will be listed in categories.

It doesnt have to be an auction site though, just a classifieds site similar to Amazon would be fine, as long as it allows users to register and post their items for sale.

Im also not entirely sure on the best method for fees.
I want users to be able to use the site for free as like a trial, or else restrict users to sell 1 item per week for free unless they buy "credits" or make a subscription or something.

If anyone knows of any good scripts that would suit my needs, either free or low cost, then it would be very much appreciated.
The only ones i can find are either not suitable, or are $250+.
