AirJordansHead 01-11-2010, 09:47 AM Hi, kethywright
I would recommend zen-cart for I have used it on almost all of my own sites. It is stable, security, powerful and flexible for any size e-commerce site. There are so many add-ons to be used and even better with a nice support forum. :)
keserhosting 01-11-2010, 11:01 AM I think its might be Os-commerce, Zen-cart and Magneto.
infinite_in 01-11-2010, 12:29 PM I think you should try out magento or zencart both are quite popular and easy to install and customize.
What eCommerce store are you planning to run and what features will you need in your business?
For something powerful and heavy, go with Magento Commerce. :agree:
For something simple and light, go with PrestaShop. :agree:
jrianto 01-11-2010, 02:13 PM I would recommend ZenCart if you're just starting out.
kethywright 01-12-2010, 06:03 AM is zenCart affordable to other language ?
shieldon1029 01-14-2010, 11:56 PM Use Magento Ecommerce. Its more versatile and flexible for your online business.
Ariolander 01-15-2010, 12:52 AM In terms of the "free" carts I would recommend ZenCart. Magento is good but I find it very hard to use.
If you don't mind paying for your software CS-Cart is excellent but as a developer Avactis is my true love. Its so easy to customize and allows for some trully unique designs with its advanced templating system.
We've found that Magento requires some pretty strong systems and heavy caching to be able to get it to a state where pages load within an acceptable timeframe. Also that you know how to best configure your MySQL Database and HTTP daemon(found Nginx to be best performer since we didn't have an SQL guru around at the time).
Zen-Cart & CRE-Loaded are commonly used forks of osCommerce that we've seen and have various features preloaded. Though both osCommerce and Zen-Cart don't appear to have been updated in years.
inspiron 01-23-2010, 12:32 PM I think that Zen cart is very nice widely used and popular oscommerce used worldwide.
inetbiz 01-28-2010, 05:54 PM A lot more features than zencart. What's the general mood about them? http://www.creloaded.com We develop for most of the oscommerce branches, but I'm curious what everyone thinks of CRE Loaded?
cliklabs 01-30-2010, 04:28 AM Magento, hands down. The community is awesome and it is well documented. If you grow to be huge they will even take care of everything for you.
bilalamjad3 02-01-2010, 01:57 AM i think zen card i s best for best application.
zaodao 02-01-2010, 02:25 AM Zencart first choice, there are huge numbers site using zencart and ern money

TheEcommPro 02-03-2010, 01:12 PM Magento is robust.
bilalamjad3 02-04-2010, 01:35 AM i think zen cart is best.
TheEcommPro 02-09-2010, 01:03 PM I would recommend Magento. It's powerful, great back end & support.

Magento Development,

Joomla Development

1) Magento is very resources extensive
2) osCommerce is the most popular (but it means not the best) because of their age
3) ZenCart is an outsourced osCommerce (and at the moment better as osC)
4) Jommla - forget it ("all in one solution"). You can't compare it with a stand-alone shopping cart solution.
Hafsoh 02-10-2010, 04:36 PM I think its depends on what are you using for and what functionality you are seeking, personally i regard Joomla as a Content Mangagement system CMS and osCommerce and ZenCart as shopping chart solutions.
