We provide a collection of clean and tested operating system templates, suitable for Xen in conjunction with SolusVM or HyperVM.

Sure you can create your own, but for a small one time fee of £50.00 GBP we can supply you with a complete set to put straight into production.

Please note that these are sold as seen and do not include any aftersales support other than installation. You are paying for the time taken to create these templates, all software is freely available should you wish to create your own

Minimal Clean OS's:

Note: CentOS templates will automatically update on creation to the latest minor release. e.g. if CentOS 5.5 came out tomorrow, they would roll out as 5.5 without needing a new template.

nice offers,

if you had windows for Xen I would be very interested.

Can you tell me if these will work on any OpenVZ panel?

These are Xen only I'm afraid.

Templating Windows needs a whole different approach as we can't just compress the contents of the filesystem into an archive. There is also an issue with licensing, i.e. we wouldn't have the rights to distribute it.

I'm sure if you had it on as a 60 day trial that would be fine.

If only Microsoft thought the same.. We would need some kind of distribution rights in order to do that, its simply not worth the risks + cost.

Could you offer a cheaper price if we didn't need all the templates you have listed?

Have you done any testing with templating FreeBSD 8-CURRENT with their initial Xen support?

I havn't yet I'm afraid and I'm not sure whether or not I will be supporting this, as it's always brought issues running under Xen Paravirtualized.

absolutely - i understand.

it has taken freebsd developers way too long to finally start joining in the virtualization game.

i think that has pushed them back as far as competitiveness with other distributions. i believe NetBSD has more stable Xen support.

Once i learn more about creating xen templates in solusvm I would love to experiment with creating these templates.

Really my only problem is having the time to try ;)
