dear all
my website is not ready to be hosted yes, i found a good domain name for it,my questions are
1- is it okay to choose the option of using the registrar name server till i host my website , as you know i can not choose the second of option of using custom name server. what are the consequences ?

2- regarding the forwarding setting ( in case i will use their default name servers, right?) should i use their Default Forwarding URL , if yes which one will i choose URL redirect or URL frame.
your urgent advice is much appreciated
after reviewing the threads i picked Namecheap.com to register with , i hope i did the right choice

i forget to mention that I'm not going to host with them

( It is advisable to enter at least two name servers if you choose to use your own custom name servers)
what is this mean and how it will be done ?

I think hosting on the registrar name servers is .. nothing ! You will probably not get your site showing up as those nameservers are dedicated to the registrar not to it's clients

There are no 'consequences' to using your registrar's nameservers. They are probably just as reliable as your hosting company's (if not more so).

And yes to use your registrars URL forwarding you will have to use their nameservers. If you want your domain to remain in the address bar while users browse your site, use frame forwarding. If you don't particularly care, use redirection.

there are indeed no consequences however If you have a hosting account I would advise you to set up at least one index page with main key words and let google start indexing your site.

difference between URL frame and redirect was correctly explained by CanSpace
